My name is Kristina Redd, and I am a proud student of the greatest of all academic homes – the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill! (Go Tar Heels!)
I am a pre-medicine student with a double major in Global Studies and Journalism. Both of these majors require concentrations; thus, I have found my “niche” in Global Health in Africa as my Global Studies concentration, in addition to the Public Relations concentration under the Journalism curriculum. This year, I am pursuing an entrance into UNC’s School of Journalism.
In the future, I will pursue medical school – hopefully becoming a general surgeon who works as a medical journalist or medical correspondent of a national news network. (Our health is important to us; let’s share ways in which we can maintain good health!)
In this blog, you will find blurbs on all things medicine, public health, and other fascinating stories pertaining to science.
